WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?

Join us Friday November 14th starting at the Queen Street Playhouse for our interactive fundraiser adventure  Around the World in 80 Minutes.   Think the Amazing Race meets Charleston charm in a scavenger hunt game throughout the French Quarter neighborhood surrounding the theatre in downtown Charleston.

Check-in at the Queen Street Playhouse where you will be greeted with a glass of prosecco as you enter the theatre to get your assignment, passport and directions to your first ‘station’.

There will be 10 ‘stations' spread throughout the French Quarter neighborhood surrounding the theatre. Stations will include local businesses, neighbors’ homes and local landmarks. Pre-assigned teams of 10-12 will explore the area, each lead by a Footlight actor guide, in search of each station. At each station the team selects member to play a quick game or answer a clue to get their passport stamped and move on to the next locale.

Five of the stations will have a small bite and drink themed to a European country with an actor posted at each station as their clue giver. Following this 80 minutes adventure all teams will make it back to home base, the French-themed Queen Street Playhouse, for a special Moulin Rouge inspired performance event, raffle for some impressive prizes and a celebration of everything Footlight!
